One lucky player walked away with $22 million Mega Millions jackpot in Friday night's drawing

One of the tickets purchased in for the Florida Mega Millions Friday night matched all six numbers drawn. The player matching all 5 numbers and the Mega Ball won the $22 million jackpot. The winning numbers from Friday night, July 31st, 2020 were 12-35-46-48-69 and the Mega Ball was 23, Megaplier was 2. The winning ticket holder will have the choice of 30 annuity payments with annual payment approximately of $846,153.85 for the entire prize amount of $22 million, or the one-time cash payment of $17.9 million before tax withholding. The grand prize winner is highly suggested to sign the ticket, put it in a safe place and get in touch with lottery officials as soon as possible. Jackpot winner has the chance to select the cash value of the jackpot while claiming the prize. If the winner does not make choice, the payment option will revert to annuity by default.
In addition to the jackpot hit on Friday, July 31st, 2020, many more people walked away with huge prizes. 6 third prize winning tickets were sold nationwide. These included 6 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers as well as the Mega Ball and won $10,000.
