The Mega Millions game grand prize has jumped up to an estimated $22 million (cash value $17.4 million) for the next drawing in the multistate lottery game Tuesday night. The grand prize amount has been rolled over since no player hit all five lotto numbers and the Mega Ball number to take the $20 million jackpot Friday night. The winning numbers from Friday night, September 18th, 2020 were 26, 29, 41, 52, 64 with Mega Ball 11 and Megaplier X3.

Even though the grand prize was not hit Friday evening, some players still walked away with big money. There were a total of 5 third prize lucky winners. These included 5 tickets that matched 4 white numbers plus the Mega Ball and won $10,000.

Other prizes won Friday evening included 184 tickets that matched four lotto numbers and won $500. 578 tickets matched three of the five lotto numbers, plus the Mega Ball number. These tickets are also each worth $200.

In some states, players can choose to spend $1 extra to purchase the Megaplier, which multiplies the prizes 2 to 5 times except grand prize. The minimum Mega Millions advertised jackpot is 40 million dollar. The annuity option is paid in 30 equal yearly payments. Winners can select one time lump sum cash payout option instead.
