No one matched all 6 numbers. Wednesday's Powerball jackpot leaps to $43 million

Without a jackpot winner in the latest drawing, the Powerball multistate lottery game has rolled over the jackpot to $43 million for Wednesday night's drawing. The lump-sum cash payout stands at an estimated $35.3 million up for grab. No player matched all five lotto numbers plus the Powerball number to win the $37 million jackpot Saturday. The next Powerball drawing is going to be at 10:59 PM Wednesday night. The numbers drawn Saturday night, April 25th, 2020 were 01, 03, 21, 47, 57 with Power Ball 18. There was no jackpot winning ticket sold in the past 21 draws since Saturday, February 15th, 2020. The last jackpot was won by a lucky ticket sold in Michigan, matched all six numbers for a $70.00 million top prize.
Though the jackpot was not awarded Saturday evening, Powerball did produce some big winners. 11 third prize winning tickets were sold nationwide. These included 10 tickets that matched four white ball numbers plus the Powerball and won $10,000.
Also, 190 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $100. There were 58 tickets matched 4 white ball with Power Play option, doubled the prizes to a total win of $200 each! Other prizes won Saturday evening included 435 tickets that matched 3 white numbers in addition to the Powerball and won $100. 137 additional tickets at this prize level were also bought with the Power Play option that doubled the prize to $200 cash.
There were 36,473 Powewrball winning tickets sold in the state of Florida. There were 2 lucky Florida winners matched 4 white ball numbers and also the Powerball and won $10,000. There was a single lucky Florida winner matched 4 lotto numbers and also the Powerball with Power Play and won $40,000. 60 tickets were sold in the state of Florida which matched either 4 or 3+1 numbers. The lucky ticket holders will receive $100 each. There were 22 lucky Florida players won $200 prize by matching 4 or 3+1 numbers with Power Play purchased.
With 9 different prize tiers, there were a total of 354,282 tickets nationwide won $0 prizes in the Saturday, April 25th, 2020 drawing.
Powerball game is played in 42 states, D.C. and the US Virgin Islands. Powerball game uses a 5/69 (white balls) + 1/26 (Powerballs) matrix to randomly choose winning numbers. The odds of winning is about 1 to 32. The odds of matching 6 Powerball numbers are about 1 in 292 million. The minimum Powerball jackpot starts at $40 million. The annuity option is paid in 30 graduated installments. Winners can choose one-time lump sum cash payout instead.
