The jackpot for Wednesday's Powerball drawing skyrockets to $343 million

No player won Saturday night's Powerball lottery drawing, worth $321 million, bringing the projected grand prize on Wednesday to $343 million. The cash value stands at a projected $233.3 million. The numbers drawn Saturday night, January 18th, 2020 were 20, 24, 38, 56, 68 with Power Ball 18.
Although the jackpot was not awarded Saturday evening, Powerball did produce some big winners. There was a single 2nd prize winner from Saturday night's drawing, matching the first 5 numbers but not the Powerball number. The 1 second prize winning ticket(s) purchased in Pennsylvania will collect 1 million dollar cash.
Additional prizes won Saturday night included 28 tickets that matched 4 white numbers together with Powerball and won $10,000. There were 4 tickets matched 4+1 with Power Play option, multiplying the winnings by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each! Other winners Saturday evening included 507 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers and won $100. 112 additional players not only matched 4 white ball, but in addition bought the Power Play option, double the winnings to a total win of $200 each! 1407 tickets matched three of the five lotto numbers, plus the Powerball number. These tickets are also each worth $100. There were 305 tickets matched 3+1 with Power Play option, doubled the winnings to win a total win of $200 each.
There were 95,741 Powewrball winning tickets sold in the state of Florida. A ticket sold in Florida matched 4 white ball numbers plus the Powerball. The lucky ticket holder will receive $10,000 cash. 147 tickets were sold in the state of Florida which matched either 4 or 3+1 numbers. The lucky ticket holders will collect $100 each. 46 tickets were sold in the state of Florida which matched either 4 or 3+1 numbers with Power Play. The lucky ticket holders will collect $200 each.
With nine different prize tiers, the Saturday night's drawing generated 1,066,010 winning tickets nationwide with a total amount of $0 prizes.
Powerball game can be played in 42 states, D.C. and the US Virgin Islands. To play, select 5 numbers from 1 to 69 and select one Powerball number from a set of 26. The minimum Powerball jackpot is $40 million. The annuity option is paid in 30 yearly increment payments in 29 years. Winners can choose one-time lump-sum cash payout option instead.
