Wednesday's Powerball jackpot goes to 145,000,000; One ticket matched the first five numbers

The jackpot in the Powerball multi-state lottery game has been increased to 145,000,000. The cash value will be $85.7 million. The prize amount was rolled over because nobody matched all five white ball numbers and the Powerball number in Monday's 130,000,000 drawing. The next Powerball game drawing is Wednesday night. The numbers from Monday, July 25th, 2022 drawing were 25-37-38-39-65 with Power Ball number 05. No one won the Powerball jackpot in the past 165 draws since Wednesday, June 16th, 2021. The last jackpot was won by a lucky ticket sold in , matched all six numbers for a $31.00 million top prize.
Even though the jackpot was not hit Monday evening, some players still walked away with large winnings. There was a sole lucky winner matched the first 5 white ball numbers but missed Powerball number, which won the second prize. The 1 second prize winning ticket(s) bought in Nebraska won $1,000,000 cash.
Other prizes won Monday night included 6 tickets that matched 4 white numbers in addition to the Powerball and won $10,000. 3 additional players not only matched 4+1, but also purchased the Power Play option, multiplying the winnings by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each! Additional prizes won Monday evening included 192 tickets that matched 4 white numbers and won $100. 66 additional tickets at this prize level were also wisely bought with the Power Play option that doubled the prize to $200 cash! 568 tickets matched three of the five lotto numbers, as well as the Powerball number. These tickets are also each worth $100. There were 165 tickets matched 3+1 with Power Play option, doubled the winnings to win a total win of $200 each.
There were 38,222 Powewrball winning tickets sold in the state of Florida. A ticket sold in Florida matched 4 white ball numbers plus the Powerball. The lucky ticket holder will receive $10,000 cash. There were 69 lucky Florida winners won $100 prize by matching 4 or 3+1 numbers. There were 14 lucky Florida players won $200 prize by matching 4 or 3+1 numbers with Power Play purchased.
With 9 ways to win, the Monday night's drawing generated 452,413 winning tickets nationwide with a total amount of $0 prizes.
Powerball is an American popular lottery game offered in 44 lottery jurisdictions as a shared jackpot game.
