Powerball jackpot jumps to $68 million Saturday, May 9th, 2020; 2 tickets won the second prize

The Powerball multi-state lottery jackpot climbed to $68 million (cash option $55.6 million) Saturday night when there were no jackpot winners in the $59 million drawing, lottery officials said. The winning numbers from Wednesday, May 6th, 2020 drawing were 07, 08, 35, 50, 65 and Powerball number was 20. The Powerball grand prize has been growing for 24 draws since Saturday, February 15th, 2020. One lucky winner from Michigan won the $70.00 million grand prize in Wednesday, February 12th, 2020 drawing.
Although the grand prize was not awarded Wednesday evening, some people still walked away with huge pile of cash. There were 2 lucky winners correctly matched all 5 numbers but missed Powerball number, which won the 2nd prize. The one ticket(s) in New Jersey matched the first five lotto numbers with the Power Play for an incredible 2 million dollar cash win! This is part of the Powerball game feature that guarantees a certain multiplier on all match 5 white ball winners that also have the Power Play option doubling the prize to $2 million cash. 1 other lucky ticket(s) bought in Minnesota, each won 1 million dollar cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers!
