Powerball jackpot climbs to $72 million; One ticket won the second prize

Wednesday's Powerball lottery grand prize is going to be worth a projected $72 million (cash value $56.3 million), since no one hit all five lotto numbers and the Powerball number in Saturday night's drawing. The winning numbers from Saturday night, October 10th, 2020 were 05-18-23-40-50 with Power Ball number 18.
Even though the grand prize was not awarded Saturday evening, some people still walked away with big money. There was a sole lucky player that correctly matched the first five lotto numbers and won the 2nd prize. The 1 second prize winning ticket(s) bought in Pennsylvania won 1 million dollar cash.
Additional prizes won Saturday night included 13 tickets that matched 4 white numbers as well as the Powerball and won $10,000. Additional prizes won Saturday evening included 242 tickets that matched 4 white numbers and won $100. 84 additional tickets of this prize level were also wisely bought with the Power Play option that doubled the prize to $200 cash! Other prizes won Saturday night included 677 tickets that matched 3 white numbers plus the Powerball and won $100. 250 additional tickets at this prize level were also bought with the Power Play option that doubled the prize to $200 cash.
There were 44,322 Powewrball winning tickets sold in the state of Florida. 3 tickets sold in Florida matched 4 white ball numbers and also the Powerball. These lucky ticket holders will collect $10,000 cash each. There were 97 lucky Floridaers won $100 prize by matching 4 or 3+1 numbers. 37 tickets were sold in the state of Florida which matched either 4 or 3+1 numbers with Power Play. The lucky ticket holders will receive $200 each.
With nine prize tiers, the Saturday night's drawing produced 462,553 winning tickets across the nation with a total amount of $0 prizes.
