A winner from Pennsylvania took 202,000,000 jackpot from the Powerball drawing Wednesday night

A single ticket sold in Pennsylvania matched all six numbers in Wednesday night's Powerball game drawing, worth approximately 202,000,000, lottery officials said. The numbers from Wednesday, August 3rd, 2022 drawing were 09-21-56-57-66 with Power Ball 11. The jackpot winner will now have to decide to either take the 29-year, 30-installment annuity, or the one time cash lump-sum in the amount of $119.5 million before Uncle Sam's share is extracted. The winning ticket holder is encouraged to sign the ticket, place it in a secure place and contact lottery officials as soon as possible. Jackpot winner has the opportunity to choose the cash value of the jackpot while claimng the prizes. If the winner does not make choice, the payment option will revert to annuity by default.
In addition to the grand prize hit on Wednesday, August 3rd, 2022, many more people took home with huge pile of cash. 18 third prize winning tickets were sold across the nation. 5 additional tickets of this prize level were also wisely bought with the Power Play option that multiplied winnings 4 times to $40,000 cash!
Other prizes won Wednesday night included 266 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers and won $100. 93 additional players not just matched 4 white ball, but in addition purchased the Power Play option, double the prizes to a total win of $200 each!
