The Mega Millions lottery jackpot has been pumped up to $177,000,000 (cash value $$76.3 million) for the next drawing in the multistate lottery game Friday night. The grand prize amount has been rolled over since no one matched all 5 white ball numbers and the Mega Ball number to take the $160,000,000 grand prize Tuesday night. The winning numbers drawn Tuesday night, September 1st, 2026 were 01, 22, 51, 61, 63 with Mega Ball 17 and Megaplier .

Although the jackpot was not awarded Tuesday evening, some people still walked away with huge prizes. 5 third prize winning tickets were sold across the U.S.. Among them, 5 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers, as well as the Mega Ball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000.

Additional prizes won Tuesday evening included 94 tickets that matched four lotto numbers and won $500. Other prizes won included 318 tickets that matched 3 white numbers plus the Mega Ball and won $200.

With 9 different prize tiers, there were 413,852 winning tickets sold across U.S. in the Tuesday, September 1st, 2026 drawing.

Mega Millions is a consortium associated with 44 state lotteries. About 50% of the Mega Millions sales goes back for the players in prize winnings.
