Nobody matched all 6 numbers. Wednesday's Powerball jackpot moves to $37 million

With no winner in the last draw, the Powerball jackpot is going to be worth a projected $37 million (lump-sum cash payout $29.7 million) the next time the multistate lottery is drawn on Wednesday. The amount rolled over since no one matched all 5 white ball numbers plus the Powerball number to win the $29 million jackpot Saturday night. The winning numbers drawn Saturday night, August 22nd, 2020 were 19-30-36-42-66 and Powerball number was 14.
Although the jackpot was not hit Saturday evening, some people still walked away with big money. 14 3rd prize winning tickets were sold across the nation. There were 3 tickets matched 4+1 with Power Play option, multiplying the winnings by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each!
Additional prizes won Saturday night included 190 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers and won $100. 63 additional players not only matched 4 white ball, but also purchased the Power Play option, double the prizes to a total win of $200 each! There were 472 tickets that matched three white ball numbers plus the Powerball and also won $100. 167 additional players not only matched 3+1, but additionally bought the Power Play option, doulbled the winnings to $200 cash each ticket.
There were 39,126 Powewrball winning tickets sold in the state of Florida. There was a single lucky Floridaer matched 4 white ball numbers as well as the Powerball and won $10,000. There were 40 lucky Florida winners won $100 prize by matching 4 or 3+1 numbers. There were 24 lucky Floridaers won $200 prize by matching 4 or 3+1 numbers with Power Play purchased.
With nine different prize tiers, the Saturday night's drawing created 417,713 winning tickets nationwide with a total amount of $0 prizes.
Powerball is one of the most popular lottery games in the U.S. offered in 44 participating states as a pari-mutuel jackpot game.
