Wednesday's Powerball jackpot rolls up to $62 million; 1 ticket won the second prize

Wednesday's Powerball jackpot increased to $62 million, since no ticket matched all six winning numbers drawn Monday night. The cash value for Wednesday will be $43.3 million up for grab. Monday's $53 million is the total payout - before taxes - if the prize is taken in annuity. The numbers from Monday, January 17th, 2022 drawing were 09-24-35-46-65 with Power Ball number 22.
Even though the grand prize was not awarded Monday evening, some players still walked away with large winnings. There was a sole second prize winner from Monday night's drawing, matching the first 5 white ball numbers except the Powerball number. The one lucky ticket(s) bought in Wisconsin, each won $1,000,000 cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.
Additional prizes won Monday night included 1 tickets that matched 4 white numbers in addition to the Powerball and won $10,000. In addition, 110 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $100. There were 53 tickets matched 4 white ball with Power Play option, doubled the prizes to a total win of $200 each!
