Saturday's Powerball jackpot jumps to $76 million; 3 players won the second prize

The Powerball grand prize has jumped up to a projected $76 million (cash option $53 million) for the next drawing in the multistate lottery game Saturday night. The grand prize amount has been carried over since nobody matched all six numbers to take the $62 million jackpot Wednesday night. The winning numbers from Wednesday night, January 19th, 2022 were 11, 15, 43, 55, 61 and Powerball number was 10.

While the jackpot was not hit Wednesday evening, some players still walked away with huge prizes. There were 3 2nd prize winners from Wednesday night's Powerball drawing, matching the first 5 white ball numbers except the Powerball number. The 1 second prize winning ticket(s) purchased in California won $1,000,000 cash. The other 2 second prize winner(s) from Connecticut(1) and Pennsylvania(1) also purchased Power Play, which doubled the prize to 2 million dollar cash win!

Additional prizes won Wednesday evening included 7 tickets that matched 4 white numbers together with Powerball and won $10,000. There were 4 tickets matched 4+1 with Power Play option, multiplying the prizes by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each!
