The jackpot for Wednesday's Powerball drawing soars to 365,000,000

Wall Street is not the only place where fortunes are made and lost these days. One fortune is going to be up for grabs on Wednesday, when Powerball lottery has 365,000,000 on the line. The lump-sum cash payout will be a projected $207.5 million. Powerball's jackpot rose since nobody matched all five white ball numbers plus the Powerball number drawn Monday night. The winning numbers from Monday, June 27th, 2022 drawing were 11-13-18-30-37 with Power Ball 16.
Even though there was no grand prize winner Monday evening, Powerball had some big winners. There were two tickets that correctly matched the first five lotto numbers and won the 2nd prize. The one second prize winning ticket(s) bought in Texas will collect $1 million cash. The other one second prize winner(s) from New Jersey also bought Power Play, which doubled the prize to $2 million cash win!
Other prizes won Monday night included 11 tickets that matched 4 white numbers as well as the Powerball and won $10,000. 6 additional tickets at this prize level were also wisely bought with the Power Play option that multiplied winnings 4 times to $40,000 cash!
There were 37,738 Powewrball winning tickets sold in the state of Florida. There was one lucky Floridaer matched 4 lotto numbers and also the Powerball and won $10,000. There were 58 lucky Florida winners won $100 prize by matching 4 or 3+1 numbers. 23 tickets were sold in the state of Florida which matched either 4 or 3+1 numbers with Power Play. The lucky ticket holders will receive $200 each.
With 9 different prize tiers, there were 470,451 tickets nationwide won $0 prizes in the Monday, June 27th, 2022 drawing.
America's favorite Powerball can be played in 42 states, D.C. and the US Virgin Islands. Powerball uses a 5/69 (white balls) + 1/26 (Powerballs) system to randomly choose winning numbers. The minimum Powerball grand prize is 40 million dollar. Its annuity option is paid in 30 graduated payments. Winners can select one lump sum cash payout option instead.
