Powerball jackpot leaps to $125,000,000 Saturday, May 13th, 2023; 1 second prize ticket sold

There was no ticket sold with all five lotto numbers and the Powerball number in the latest multi-state Powerball lottery draw, and the projected grand prize for Saturday's drawing will grow to 125,000,000, lottery officials announced. The cash value will be an estimated $67.2 million up for grab. The numbers drawn Wednesday night, May 10th, 2023 were 21, 24, 33, 55, 69 and Powerball was 03.
Even though there was no grand prize winner Wednesday evening, Powerball did produce some big winners. There was a single second prize winning ticket from Wednesday night's drawing, matching the first five white ball numbers but not the Powerball number. The 1 lucky ticket(s) purchased in California, each won $1,000,000 cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.
Also, 9 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers, as well as the Powerball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000. 6 additional tickets at this prize level were also wisely purchased with the Power Play option that multiplied the prize 4 times to $40,000 cash! Other prizes won Wednesday evening included 152 tickets that matched four white ball numbers and won $100. 62 additional players not just matched 4 white ball, but also bought the Power Play option, double the prizes to a total win of $200 each! 485 tickets matched 3 of the 5 lotto numbers, plus the Powerball number. These tickets are also each worth $100. There were 159 tickets matched 3+1 with Power Play option, doubled the winnings to win a total win of $200 each.
With 9 ways to win, there were a total of 385,422 tickets across U.S. won $0 prizes in the Wednesday, May 10th, 2023 drawing.
