The jackpot in the Powerball multistate lottery game continues climbing and will be up to an estimated 162,000,000 for the next drawing on Saturday. The cash value stands at a projected $86.8 million up for grab. The amount was rolled over because no player matched all 6 numbers to win the 146,000,000 grand prize Wednesday night. The winning numbers from Wednesday, May 17th, 2023 drawing were 18-34-37-45-51 and Powerball was 14. The Powerball jackpot has been rolling over for 292 draws since Wednesday, June 16th, 2021. One lucky winner from won the $31.00 million jackpot in Saturday, June 12th, 2021 drawing.
Though the jackpot was not hit Wednesday evening, Powerball did produce some big winners. 3 third prize winning tickets were sold nationwide. These included 2 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers as well as the Powerball and won $10,000.
Other prizes won Wednesday evening included 188 tickets that matched four white ball numbers and won $100. 48 additional players not just matched 4 white ball, and also purchased the Power Play option, double the winnings to a total win of $200 each! There were 463 tickets that correctly matched three white ball numbers plus the Powerball and also won $100. 163 additional players not only matched 3+1, but additionally bought the Power Play option, doulbled the winnings to $200 cash each ticket.
