Powerball jackpot climbs to $545 million; Four players matched the first 5 numbers

There was no ticket sold matched all 6 numbers in the last multi-state Powerball game draw, and the projected grand prize for Monday's drawing will leap to $545 million, lottery officials announced. The lump-sum cash payout stands at $392.1 million up for grab. The numbers from Saturday night, September 25th, 2021 were 22, 23, 37, 62, 63 with Power Ball number 19. The Powerball jackpot has been growing for 35 draws since Wednesday, June 16th, 2021. The last jackpot was won by a single ticket sold in , matched all six numbers for a $31.00 million top prize.
While there was no grand prize winner Saturday evening, some people still walked away with huge pile of cash. There were four tickets that matched all five numbers and won the 2nd prize. The one ticket(s) in Illinois matched all five white ball numbers with the Power Play for an incredible 2 million dollar cash win! This is part of the Powerball lottery feature that guarantees a certain multiplier on all match 5 white ball winners that also have the Power Play option pushing the prize to $2,000,000 cash. 3 other lucky ticket(s) bought in Connecticut(1), New Jersey(1) and Pennsylvania(1), each won $1 million cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers!

Powerball is an American popular lottery game offered in 44 member states as a pari-mutuel jackpot game. Powerball drawings occur every Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 PM Eastern Time.
