The jackpot in the Mega Millions multi-state lottery game has been rolled up to $68 million. The lump-sum cash payout stands at a projected $53.9 million. The prize amount was rolled over because nobody matched all 5 lotto numbers and the Mega Ball number in Tuesday's $57 million drawing. The next Mega Millions game drawing is Friday night. The winning numbers from Tuesday, August 25th, 2020 drawing were 08, 10, 15, 17, 57 with Mega Ball number 12 and Megaplier X3.
Though the jackpot was not hit Tuesday evening, Mega Millions did produce some big winners. A total of 14 lucky tickets won the 3rd prize. These included 14 tickets that matched 4 white numbers together with Mega Ball and won $10,000.
Other prizes won Tuesday evening included 335 tickets that matched four white numbers and won $500. Other prizes won included 820 tickets that matched 3 white numbers as well as the Mega Ball and won $200.
With 9 ways to win, there were a total of 1,032,724 winning tickets sold across U.S. in the Tuesday, August 25th, 2020 drawing.
Mega Millions is a consortium involving 44 state lotteries. It holds the record highest jackpot in United States lottery history.
