The projected jackpot for Tuesday night's drawing was 370,000,000. According to Mega Millions, no one hit every number and the jackpot jumped to an estimated 400,000,000. The lump-sum cash payout stands at an estimated $231.7 million up for grab. The numbers drawn Tuesday night, July 5th, 2022 were 27-31-50-51-61 and the Mega Ball was 21, Megaplier was 4.

While there was no jackpot winner Tuesday evening, some people still walked away with huge prizes. There were two 2nd prize winning tickets from Tuesday night's drawing, matching all 5 lotto numbers but not the Mega Ball number. The two lucky ticket(s) purchased in , each won $1,000,000 cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.
