The lottery official announced that the Friday, May 22nd, 2020, Mega Millions drawing resulted in a carry over, producing an $313 million grand prize for the next drawing Tuesday. The cash option will be a projected $249.8 million up for grab. The numbers from Friday night, May 22nd, 2020 were 08, 10, 20, 44, 46 with Mega Ball 18 and Megaplier 4. Nobody won the Mega Millions grand prize in the past 268 draws since Tuesday, October 17th, 2017.A single lucky player from New York won the $104 million grand prize in Friday, September 22nd, 2017 drawing.
Even though the grand prize was not awarded Friday evening, some players still walked away with huge pile of cash. 22 3rd prize winning tickets were sold across the U.S.. Among them, 22 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers, plus the Mega Ball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000.
Other prizes won Friday night included 504 tickets that matched four white ball numbers and won $500. 1277 tickets matched three of the five lotto numbers, as well as the Mega Ball number. These tickets are also each worth $200.
With 9 prize tiers, there were 1,667,282 winning tickets sold across U.S. in the Friday, May 22nd, 2020 drawing.
