The Mega Millions multi-state lottery grand prize climbed to 64,000,000 (lump-sum cash payout $31 million) Friday night when there were no top prize winners in the 45,000,000 drawing, lottery officials said. The winning numbers from Tuesday night, October 25th, 2022 were 21, 30, 35, 45, 66 and the Mega Ball was 21, Megaplier was 3. There was no jackpot winning ticket sold in the past 521 draws since Tuesday, October 17th, 2017.The last jackpot was won by one lucky ticket sold in New York, matched all six numbers for a $104 million top prize.
Though the jackpot was not hit Tuesday evening, some people still walked away with big money. 16 third prize winning tickets were sold across the nation. These included 16 tickets that matched 4 white numbers together with Mega Ball and won $10,000.
Other prizes won Tuesday night included 248 tickets that matched 4 lotto numbers and won $500. There were 691 tickets that matched 3 white ball numbers as well as the Mega Ball and also won $200.
With 9 prize tiers, there were 1,057,242 winning tickets sold across U.S. in the Tuesday, October 25th, 2022 drawing.
Mega Millions is played in 43 states and D.C. The odds of winning are about 1 to 14. The chances of matching all six Mega Millions numbers are about 1 in 302 million.
