The grand prize in America's favorite Mega Millions lottery is on the move. Because nobody correctly hit all 5 white ball numbers plus the Mega Millions number in Tuesday's drawing, the jackpot will climb to a projected $178,000,000! The cash option stands at an estimated $$79.6 million. The numbers from Tuesday, April 16th, 2024 drawing were 21, 26, 36, 44, 59 with Mega Ball 02 and Megaplier x4. There was no jackpot winning ticket sold in the past 6 draws since Friday, March 29th, 2024.The last jackpot was won by a single ticket sold in NJ, matched all six numbers for a $0 million top prize.
Although the jackpot was not awarded Tuesday evening, some people still walked away with huge pile of cash. 12 third prize winning tickets were sold across the nation. These included 12 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers as well as the Mega Ball and won $10,000.
In addition, 277 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $500. There were 756 tickets that matched 3 white ball numbers plus the Mega Ball and also won $200.
With nine different prize levels, there were 1,184,386 winning tickets sold across the nation in the Tuesday, April 16th, 2024 drawing.
