The jackpot in the Mega Millions multi-state lottery game has been increased to $257,000,000. The cash value will be an estimated $$115.6 million up for grab. The prize amount was rolled over since nobody matched all 5 lotto numbers plus the Mega Ball number in Friday's $228,000,000 drawing. The next Mega Millions game drawing is Tuesday night. The winning numbers from Friday, April 26th, 2024 drawing were 15, 23, 53, 57, 61 with Mega Ball number 09 and Megaplier x3. The Mega Millions jackpot has been rolling over for 9 draws since Friday, March 29th, 2024.The last jackpot was won by one lucky ticket sold in NJ, matched all six numbers for a $0 million top prize.
Though the jackpot was not awarded Friday evening, Mega Millions did produce some big winners. There were a total of 12 3rd prize lucky winners. Among them, 12 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers, plus the Mega Ball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000.
Additional prizes won Friday night included 289 tickets that matched 4 lotto numbers and won $500. 744 tickets matched 3 of the 5 lotto numbers, as well as the Mega Ball number. These tickets are also each worth $200.
With nine prize tiers, there were a total of 1,372,838 winning tickets sold across the nation in the Friday, April 26th, 2024 drawing.
Mega Millions is an U.S. popular lottery game sold in 44 lottery jurisdictions as a pari-mutuel jackpot game. Mega Millions drawings are held every Tuesday and Friday night at 7:59 p.m. Pacific Time. The minimum Mega Millions advertised grand prize starts at $40,000,000. The annuity option is paid in 30 equal yearly payments. Winners can choose one lump sum cash payout instead.
