There was no ticket sold hit all five lotto numbers and the Mega Ball number in the latest multi-state Mega Millions game draw, and the estimated jackpot for Tuesday's drawing will roll up to $182,000,000, lottery officials announced. The cash value stands at a projected $$82.1 million. The winning numbers from Friday, August 8th, 2025 drawing were 02, 06, 08, 14, 49 and the Mega Ball was 12, Megaplier was . There was no jackpot winning ticket sold in the past 39 draws since Friday, March 28th, 2025.The last jackpot was won by one lucky ticket sold in IL, matched all six numbers for a $344 million top prize.
Although there was no grand prize winner Friday evening, Mega Millions had some big winners. There was only one ticket that correctly matched all five lotto numbers and won the second prize. The one lucky ticket(s) sold in CA, each won $1,000,000 cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.
In addition, 7 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers, as well as the Mega Ball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000. Additional winners Friday evening included 237 tickets that matched four lotto numbers and won $500. There were 635 tickets that correctly matched three white ball numbers as well as the Mega Ball and also won $200.
With nine different ways to win, there were 447,228 winning tickets sold across the nation in the Friday, August 8th, 2025 drawing.
