The Mega Millions jackpot has been pumped up to a projected $1,000,000,000 (cash option $$448.8 million) for the next drawing in the multistate lottery game Tuesday night. The jackpot amount has been carried over since no player hit all five lotto numbers and the Mega Ball number to take the $862,000,000 grand prize Friday night. The numbers from Friday night, December 20th, 2024 were 02, 20, 51, 56, 67 and the Mega Ball was 19, Megaplier was 2. No one won the Mega Millions grand prize in the past 29 draws since Friday, September 13th, 2024.One lucky player from TX walked away with $800 million grand prize in Tuesday, September 10th, 2024 drawing.
Although there was no grand prize winner Friday evening, some players still walked away with huge prizes. There were five lucky tickets matched the first five white ball numbers but missed Mega Ball number, which won the 2nd prize. The five lucky ticket(s) sold in AR,IL,IN(2),PA, each won one quarter million dollar cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.
In addition, 37 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers, as well as the Mega Ball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000. In addition, 949 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers.
