One lucky ticket in CA matched all 6 numbers in the Friday drawing and won the $1,220,000,000 grand prize. The numbers from Friday, December 27th, 2024 drawing were 03, 07, 37, 49, 55 with Mega Ball 06 and Megaplier 3. The winner can take a cash option worth $549.7 million before taxes, or choose to receive 30-year annuity option with annual payment about $46.92 million before taxes. The jackpot winner is encouraged to sign the ticket, place it in a secure place and get in touch with lottery officials as soon as possible. Jackpot winner has the opportunity to select the cash value of the jackpot while claiming the prize. If the winner doesn't make choice, the payment option will revert to annuity by default.
