The jackpot for Tuesday's Mega Millions drawing soars to $365,000,000

No one won Friday night's Mega Millions drawing, worth $333,000,000, bringing the projected jackpot on Tuesday to $365,000,000. The cash value stands at an estimated $$174.6 million. The numbers from Friday night, February 2nd, 2024 were 11, 22, 42, 64, 69 with Mega Ball 18 and Megaplier X3. The Mega Millions jackpot has been growing for 16 draws since Tuesday, December 12th, 2023.

Although there was no jackpot winner Friday evening, some people still walked away with huge prizes. There was only one lucky winner correctly matched all five lotto numbers but missed Mega Ball number, which won the 2nd prize. The one second prize winning ticket(s) bought in won $1,000,000 cash each.

Also, 14 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers, plus the Mega Ball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000. Additional prizes won Friday evening included 339 tickets that matched 4 lotto numbers and won $500. Other prizes won included 909 tickets that matched 3 white numbers in addition to the Mega Ball and won $200.

With nine different ways to win, there were 1,457,160 winning tickets sold nationwide in the Friday, February 2nd, 2024 drawing.

Mega Millions can be played in 43 states and D.C. It holds the record highest jackpot of $656 million in United States lottery history. Mega Millions drawings are held every Tuesday and Friday at 7:59 p.m. Pacific Time. Each play costs $1. In some states, players can choose to spend $1 extra to purchase the Megaplier option, which multiplies the original winnings 2 to 5 times except grand prize. The chances of winning are about 1 to 14. The chances of matching 6 Mega Millions numbers are 1 to 302,575,350. The minimum Mega Millions advertised grand prize is $40 million. Its annuity option is paid in 30 equal yearly payments. Winners can choose one time lump-sum cash payout instead.
