Florida Mega Millions News and Payout for Friday, August 29th, 2025 Drawing
The grand prize in America's favorite Mega Millions lottery game continues to move up exciting players all across the country. Because no player correctly matched all five white ball numbers and the Mega Ball number in Tuesday's drawing the jackpot will increase to a projected $302,000,000! The cash option will be $$136 million. The numbers from Friday, August 29th, 2025 drawing were 13, 31, 32, 44, 45 with Mega Ball number 21 and Megaplier X.
Though the jackpot was not hit Friday evening, some people still walked away with huge pile of cash. 8 third prize winning tickets were sold nationwide. These included 8 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers as well as the Mega Ball and won $10,000.
Other winners Friday evening included 199 tickets that matched four lotto numbers and won $500. There were 523 tickets that correctly matched three white ball numbers as well as the Mega Ball and also won $200.
With 9 different prize tiers, there were 658,036 winning tickets sold across U.S. in the Friday, August 29th, 2025 drawing.
Mega Millions lottery can be played in 43 states and D.C. It holds the record largest jackpot of $656 million in United States lottery history. To play, select 5 numbers from 1 to 70 and select a Mega Ball number from a set of 25. Each play costs $1. In some states, players can choose to spend $1 extra to buy the Megaplier, which multiplies the original prizes 2 to 5 times except grand prize. The overall odds of winning are about 1 to 14. The chances of matching all six Mega Millions numbers are about 1 in 302 million. The minimum Mega Millions jackpot is $40 million. Its annuity option is paid in 30 equal annual installments. Winners may choose one lump-sum cash payout option instead.
