Without a big winner in the latest drawing, the Mega Millions multistate lottery game has carried over the jackpot to $130,000,000 for Tuesday night's drawing. The cash value will be $$55.5 million up for grab. Nobody matched all 5 lotto numbers and the Mega Ball number to win the $113,000,000 grand prize Friday. The next Mega Millions game drawing will be at 10:59 PM Tuesday night. The numbers from Friday, August 21st, 2026 drawing were 01-25-34-48-57 and the Mega Ball was 24, Megaplier was . There was no jackpot winning ticket sold in the past 147 draws since Friday, March 28th, 2025.A single lucky player from IL won the $344 million grand prize in Tuesday, March 25th, 2025 drawing.
While there was no grand prize winner Friday evening, Mega Millions had some huge winners. There were a total of 1 3rd prize lucky winning tickets. These included 1 tickets that matched four white ball numbers plus the Mega Ball and won $10,000.
In addition, 112 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $500. Other prizes won included 302 tickets that matched 3 white numbers plus the Mega Ball and won $200.

Mega Millions is a consortium associated with 44 state lotteries. About 50% of the Mega Millions sales goes back to the players in prizes. Around 15% is used to as commission of retailers and lottery operating costs. About 35% total sales is used to support government services, education and charities in the participating lottery states. To play, choose 5 numbers from 1 to 70 then select a Mega Ball number from a set of 25. Each play costs $1. In some states, players can choose to spend $1 extra to purchase the Megaplier option, which multiplies the prizes 2 to 5 times but not grand prize. The minimum Mega Millions grand prize starts at $40,000,000. The annuity option is paid in 30 equal annual payments. Winners can select one lump-sum cash payout option instead.
