There was no ticket sold with all 6 numbers in the latest multi-state Mega Millions draw, and the projected grand prize for Friday's drawing will go to $199,000,000, according to lottery officials. The cash value stands at a projected $$90.5 million. The winning numbers from Tuesday, January 6th, 2026 drawing were 09-39-47-58-68 and the Mega Ball was 24, Megaplier was . Nobody won the Mega Millions jackpot in the past 82 draws since Friday, March 28th, 2025.One lucky winner from IL walked away with $344 million jackpot in Tuesday, March 25th, 2025 drawing.
Even though there was no jackpot winner Tuesday evening, Mega Millions had some huge winners. There was a single lucky player that correctly matched the first 5 lotto numbers and won the second prize. The one second prize winning ticket(s) bought in will collect a quarter million dollar cash each.
Also, 4 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers, plus the Mega Ball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000. Other winners Tuesday evening included 135 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers and won $500. 364 tickets matched 3 of the 5 lotto numbers, as well as the Mega Ball number. These tickets are also each worth $200.
With nine different prize tiers, there were 500,892 winning tickets sold nationwide in the Tuesday, January 6th, 2026 drawing.
