FL Mega Millions lottery News and Payout for Friday, July 25th, 2025 Drawing
The grand prize in the multi-state Mega Millions drawing rised to $130,000,000 for the Tuesday drawing. The cash value will be an estimated $$57.5 million. No ticket sold for Friday's $120,000,000 drawing hit five white ball numbers and the Mega Ball number. The winning numbers drawn Friday night, July 25th, 2025 were 14, 21, 25, 49, 52 with Mega Ball number 07 and Megaplier x. There was no jackpot winning ticket sold in the past 35 draws since Friday, March 28th, 2025.The last jackpot was won by a lucky ticket sold in IL, matched all six numbers for a $344 million top prize.
While the grand prize was not hit Friday evening, some players still walked away with huge prizes. A total of 5 lucky tickets won the 3rd prize. Among them, 5 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers, as well as the Mega Ball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000.
Additional winners Friday night included 109 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers and won $500. Other prizes won included 426 tickets that matched 3 white numbers plus the Mega Ball and won $200.
With 9 different prize tiers, there were 463,432 winning tickets sold across U.S. in the Friday, July 25th, 2025 drawing.
Mega Millions game is played in 43 states and D.C. On average, 50% of the Mega Millions sales goes back on the players in prize winnings. About 15% goes to commission of retailers and lottery operating costs. Approximately 35% total sales is used in government services, education and charities in the participating lottery states. To play Mega Millions, select 5 numbers from a set of 70 and select 1 Mega Ball number from a set of 25. Each play costs $1. In some states, players can choose to pay $1 extra to purchase the Megaplier, which multiplies the prizes 2 to 5 times but not grand prize. The minimum Mega Millions grand prize is $40,000,000. Its annuity option is paid in 30 equal annual payments. Winners can select one lump sum cash payout option instead.
