The multi-state Mega Millions lottery grand prize has climbed to $30 million dollars after there was no grand prize winner in Tuesday's drawing. The lump-sum cash payout will be a projected $20.7 million up for grab. The winning numbers from Tuesday, June 15th, 2021 drawing were 18, 22, 27, 38, 52 and the Mega Ball was 11, Megaplier was 4.
Although the grand prize was not awarded Tuesday evening, some people still walked away with large winnings. There were a total of 11 3rd prize lucky winning tickets. These included 11 tickets that matched four white ball numbers plus the Mega Ball and won $10,000.
In addition, 231 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $500. 749 tickets matched three of the five lotto numbers, as well as the Mega Ball number. These tickets are also each worth $200.
With 9 prize levels, there were 1,037,866 winning tickets sold nationwide in the Tuesday, June 15th, 2021 drawing.
Mega Millions is played in 43 states and D.C. To play Mega Millions, select 5 numbers from 1 to 70 and select a Mega Ball number from a set of 25. The minimum Mega Millions advertised jackpot starts at $40 million. Its annuity option is paid in 30 equal annual payments. Winners can select one-time lump-sum cash payout instead.
