Mega Millions jackpot builds to $97,000,000; One player won the second prize

The jackpot for Tuesday Mega Millions jumped to $97,000,000 (cash option $$46.4 million) after no player hit all five lotto numbers and the Mega Ball number Friday night. The winning numbers from Friday night, June 21st, 2024 were 03, 18, 27, 40, 44 and the Mega Ball was 19, Megaplier was 4. The Mega Millions jackpot has been growing for 6 draws since Friday, June 7th, 2024.The last jackpot was won by one lucky ticket sold in IL, matched all six numbers for a $560 million top prize.
Though there was no grand prize winner Friday evening, some people still walked away with huge pile of cash. There was a sole lucky winner correctly matched all five numbers but missed Mega Ball number, which won the second prize. The one lucky ticket(s) purchased in TX, each won one quarter million dollar cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.
In addition, 6 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers, plus the Mega Ball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000. In addition, 243 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $500. There were 613 tickets that correctly matched 3 white ball numbers as well as the Mega Ball and also won $200.
