With no winner in the latest drawing, the Mega Millions game grand prize is going to be worth an estimated $60,000,000 (lump-sum cash payout $$27 million) the next time the multistate lottery is drawn on Tuesday. The amount rolled over because no player hit all six numbers to win the $50,000,000 grand prize Friday night. The numbers from Friday night, March 20th, 2026 were 11-20-51-55-63 and the Mega Ball was 04, Megaplier was .
Though there was no grand prize winner Friday evening, some players still walked away with big money. 6 third prize winning tickets were sold across the U.S.. Among them, 6 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers, plus the Mega Ball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000.
In addition, 90 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $500. Other prizes won included 240 tickets that matched 3 white numbers together with Mega Ball and won $200.
With nine prize tiers, there were 354,610 winning tickets sold across the nation in the Friday, March 20th, 2026 drawing.
Mega Millions game can be played in 43 states and D.C. Roughly 50% of the Mega Millions sales goes back to the players through prize winnings. Roughly 15% is used to as retailer commissions and lottery operating costs. Roughly 35% total sales is used in government services, education and charities in the member lottery states. Each play costs $1. In some states, players can choose to spend $1 extra to buy the Megaplier option, which multiplies the winnings 2 to 5 times but not grand prize. The minimum Mega Millions grand prize starts at $40,000,000. The annuity option is paid in 30 equal yearly installments. Winners may choose one lump sum cash payout option instead.
