Huge Mega Millions jackpot up for grabs Tuesday night

Florida Mega Millions News and Payout for Friday, March 22nd, 2024 Drawing
The Mega Millions multi-state lottery jackpot climbed to $1,130,000,000 (lump-sum cash payout $$537.5 million) Tuesday night when there were no jackpot winning tickets in the $977,000,000 drawing, lottery officials said. The numbers from Friday, March 22nd, 2024 drawing were 03-08-31-35-44 with Mega Ball number 16 and Megaplier X3. The Mega Millions jackpot has been rolling over for 30 draws since Tuesday, December 12th, 2023.
While there was no jackpot winner Friday evening, Mega Millions had some big winners. There were five tickets that correctly matched the first 5 lotto numbers and won the 2nd prize. The five lucky ticket(s) purchased in CA,FL,IL,NE,TX, each won one quarter million dollar cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.
Additional major winners Friday evening included 68 tickets that matched four white ball numbers plus the Mega Ball and won $10,000. Other prizes won Friday evening included 1452 tickets that matched four white numbers and won $500. 3589 tickets matched 3 of the 5 lotto numbers, plus the Mega Ball number. These tickets are also each worth $200.
With nine different ways to win, there were 5,128,228 winning tickets sold across the nation in the Friday, March 22nd, 2024 drawing.
Mega Millions lottery is played in 43 states and D.C. It holds the record largest jackpot of $656 million in U.S. lottery history. Mega Millions drawings are held every Tuesday and Friday at 7:59 PM Pacific Time. To play Mega Millions, select 5 numbers from 1 to 70 and choose 1 Mega Ball number from 1 to 25. The minimum Mega Millions grand prize starts at $40 million. The annuity option is paid in 30 equal yearly installments. Winners can choose one-time lump sum cash payout option instead.
