Florida Mega Millions lottery News and Payout for Tuesday, May 6th, 2025 Drawing
The lottery official announced that the Tuesday, May 6th, 2025, Mega Millions drawing resulted in a roll-over, generating an $100,000,000 grand prize for the next drawing Friday. The cash value stands at $$45.3 million up for grab. The numbers from Tuesday, May 6th, 2025 drawing were 16-17-43-46-58 with Mega Ball number 16 and Megaplier x. There was no jackpot winning ticket sold in the past 12 draws since Friday, March 28th, 2025.The last jackpot was won by one lucky ticket sold in IL, matched all six numbers for a $344 million top prize.
While there was no grand prize winner Tuesday evening, Mega Millions did produce some big winners. A total of 5 lucky tickets won the 3rd prize. These included 5 tickets that matched 4 white numbers in addition to the Mega Ball and won $10,000.
In addition, 139 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $500. Other prizes won included 307 tickets that matched 3 white numbers as well as the Mega Ball and won $200.
With nine prize levels, there were a total of 392,716 winning tickets sold across U.S. in the Tuesday, May 6th, 2025 drawing.
Mega Millions is a consortium associated with 44 state lotteries. It holds the record biggest jackpot of $656 million in U.S. lottery history. Mega Millions game uses a 5/70 (white balls) + 1/25 (Mega Balls) system from which winning numbers are chosen. Each play costs $1. In some states, players can choose to pay $1 extra to buy the Megaplier option, which multiplies the original winnings 2 to 5 times except grand prize. The minimum Mega Millions advertised grand prize starts at $40,000,000. Its annuity option is paid in 30 equal yearly installments. Winners can choose one time lump sum cash payout option instead.
