The Mega Millions lottery grand prize increased since no player matched all 6 numbers from Friday night's $215,000,000 drawing. The next grand prize increased to $232,000,000 for Tuesday night's drawing. The lump-sum cash payout will be a projected $$103.8 million up for grab. The numbers from Friday, May 8th, 2026 drawing were 37, 47, 49, 51, 58 with Mega Ball 16 and Megaplier x. The Mega Millions grand prize has been growing for 117 draws since Friday, March 28th, 2025.One lucky winner from IL walked away with $344 million grand prize in Tuesday, March 25th, 2025 drawing.
While there was no jackpot winner Friday evening, Mega Millions had some huge winners. 6 3rd prize winning tickets were sold across the nation. These included 6 tickets that matched 4 white numbers plus the Mega Ball and won $10,000.
Additional prizes won Friday evening included 121 tickets that matched 4 lotto numbers and won $500. 320 tickets matched 3 of the 5 lotto numbers, plus the Mega Ball number. These tickets are also each worth $200.

Mega Millions is a consortium associated with 44 state lotteries. Approximately 50% of the Mega Millions sales goes back for the players through prize winnings.
