The jackpot for Tuesday Mega Millions rolled up to $363,000,000 (lump-sum cash payout $$166.9 million) after nobody matched all five lotto numbers plus the Mega Ball number Friday night. The numbers from Friday night, May 10th, 2024 were 13-22-26-32-65 and the Mega Ball was 18, Megaplier was 4.

Although the grand prize was not awarded Friday evening, Mega Millions had some huge winners. A total of 16 lucky winners won the third prize. These included 16 tickets that matched 4 white numbers in addition to the Mega Ball and won $10,000.

Additional prizes won Friday night included 323 tickets that matched four white numbers and won $500. 902 tickets matched 3 of the 5 lotto numbers, plus the Mega Ball number. These tickets are also each worth $200.

With 9 different prize tiers, there were a total of 1,441,044 winning tickets sold across the nation in the Friday, May 10th, 2024 drawing.

Mega Millions is played in 43 states and D.C. It holds the record largest jackpot in U.S. lottery history. Around 50% of the Mega Millions sales goes back for the players through prizes. About 15% goes to retailer commissions and lottery operating costs. Roughly 35% total sales is used in government services, education and charities in the member lottery states. Each play costs $1. In some states, players can choose to spend 1 extra dollar to buy the Megaplier option, which multiplies the original winnings 2 to 5 times but not jackpot. The minimum Mega Millions jackpot is 40 million dollar. The annuity option is paid in 30 equal annual installments. Winners can choose one-time lump sum cash payout option instead.
