Florida Mega Millions News and Payout for Friday, May 15th, 2026 Drawing

The Mega Millions multi-state lottery jackpot leaped to $277,000,000 (lump-sum cash payout $$120.4 million) Tuesday night when there were no jackpot winners in the $251,000,000 drawing, lottery officials said. The winning numbers from Friday, May 15th, 2026 drawing were 17, 23, 25, 52, 61 with Mega Ball 03 and Megaplier .

While the jackpot was not awarded Friday evening, some people still walked away with big money. 5 3rd prize winning tickets were sold nationwide. Among them, 5 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers, as well as the Mega Ball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000.

Other prizes won Friday evening included 151 tickets that matched four white ball numbers and won $500. There were 470 tickets that matched three white ball numbers plus the Mega Ball and also won $200.

With 9 ways to win, there were a total of 531,384 winning tickets sold nationwide in the Friday, May 15th, 2026 drawing.

Mega Millions is an U.S. popular lottery game can be played in 44 participating states as a pari-mutuel jackpot game. Mega Millions lottery uses a 5/70 (white balls) + 1/25 (Mega Balls) system from which winning numbers are chosen. Each play costs $1. In some states, players can choose to spend 1 extra dollar to purchase the Megaplier option, which multiplies the prizes 2 to 5 times but not jackpot. The minimum Mega Millions advertised grand prize is $40 million. The annuity option is paid in 30 equal yearly installments. Winners can choose one time lump sum cash payout instead.
