The grand prize in America's favorite Mega Millions lottery is on the move. Because no one correctly hit all 6 numbers in Tuesday's drawing, the jackpot will increase to $60,000,000! The cash value stands at an estimated $$27.7 million. The winning numbers drawn Tuesday night, November 18th, 2025 were 05, 10, 23, 27, 30 with Mega Ball number 10 and Megaplier X.
While there was no jackpot winner Tuesday evening, Mega Millions did produce some big winners. There was only one ticket that correctly matched the first 5 lotto numbers and won the second prize. The 1 second prize winning ticket(s) purchased in will collect a quarter million dollar cash each.
Additional prizes won Tuesday night included 15 tickets that matched four white ball numbers as well as the Mega Ball and won $10,000. Other prizes won Tuesday evening included 323 tickets that matched four lotto numbers and won $500. Other prizes won included 734 tickets that matched 3 white numbers plus the Mega Ball and won $200.
With 9 ways to win, there were 450,326 winning tickets sold nationwide in the Tuesday, November 18th, 2025 drawing.
Mega Millions is a consortium of 44 state lotteries. It holds the record biggest jackpot in North American lottery history. About 50% of the Mega Millions sales goes back on the players through prizes. Around 15% is used to as commission of retailers and lottery operating costs. Around 35% total sales is used in government services, education and charities in the member states. To play, select 5 numbers from 1 to 70 and choose one Mega Ball number from 1 to 25. Each play costs $1. In some states, players can choose to pay $1 extra to buy the Megaplier option, which multiplies the prizes 2 to 5 times except jackpot. The minimum Mega Millions advertised grand prize is $40 million. The annuity option is paid in 30 equal annual installments. Winners can choose one lump sum cash payout option instead.
