Huge Mega Millions jackpot up for grabs Friday night

The grand prize in America's favorite Mega Millions lottery game continues to move up exciting players all across the nation. Because no player correctly matched all 6 winning numbers in Friday's drawing the jackpot will move to an estimated $308,000,000! The cash option will be $$142.1 million up for grab. The winning numbers drawn Tuesday night, November 21st, 2023 were 17, 22, 25, 30, 38 with Mega Ball 24 and Megaplier X4.
Though the jackpot was not hit Tuesday evening, Mega Millions did produce some big winners. There was only one second prize winning ticket from Tuesday night's drawing, matching all five lotto numbers except the Mega Ball number. The one lucky ticket(s) purchased in NJ, each won $1,000,000 cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.
In addition, 18 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers, plus the Mega Ball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000. Additional prizes won Tuesday evening included 330 tickets that matched four white numbers and won $500. Other prizes won included 725 tickets that matched 3 white numbers plus the Mega Ball and won $200.
With nine different ways to win, there were a total of 1,115,548 winning tickets sold across the nation in the Tuesday, November 21st, 2023 drawing.
Mega Millions is a consortium of 44 state lotteries. It holds the record biggest jackpot in North American lottery history. Mega Millions drawings are held 2 times a week every Tuesday and Friday at 7:59 PM Pacific Time. Mega Millions lottery uses a 5/70+1/25 system from which winning numbers are chosen. Each play costs $1. In some states, players can choose to pay $1 extra to purchase the Megaplier, which multiplies the winnings 2 to 5 times except grand prize. The minimum Mega Millions advertised grand prize is 40 million dollar. The annuity option is paid in 30 equal yearly payments. Winners may select one-time lump-sum cash payout instead.
