The Mega Millions jackpot increased since no player hit all 5 white ball numbers plus the Mega Ball number from Friday night's $680,000,000 drawing. The next jackpot leaped to $714,000,000 for Tuesday night's drawing. The cash value stands at an estimated $$334.1 million up for grab. The winning numbers from Friday, October 24th, 2025 drawing were 11-18-31-51-56 and the Mega Ball was 24, Megaplier was . There was no jackpot winning ticket sold in the past 61 draws since Friday, March 28th, 2025.The last jackpot was won by a lucky ticket sold in IL, matched all six numbers for a $344 million top prize.
Though the grand prize was not hit Friday evening, Mega Millions had some big winners. There was a single second prize winning ticket from Friday night's Mega Millions drawing, matching the first 5 lotto numbers but not the Mega Ball number. The one second prize winning ticket(s) bought in won a quarter million dollar cash each.
In addition, 12 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers, plus the Mega Ball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000. Other prizes won Friday night included 277 tickets that matched four white ball numbers and won $500. Other prizes won included 772 tickets that matched 3 white numbers as well as the Mega Ball and won $200.
With nine ways to win, there were a total of 964,860 winning tickets sold across U.S. in the Friday, October 24th, 2025 drawing.
Mega Millions is a consortium involving 44 state lotteries. Approximately 50% of the Mega Millions sales goes back to the players in prizes. About 15% goes to commission of retailers and lottery operation expenses. Around 35% total sales is used to support government services, education and charities in the member lottery states. Mega Millions drawings are held every Tuesday and Friday at 7:59 p.m. Pacific Time. The overall odds of winning any prizes are about 1 to 14. The chances of matching 6 Mega Millions numbers are about 1 in 302 million. The minimum Mega Millions jackpot is $40 million. The annuity option is paid in 30 equal annual installments. Winners can select one lump sum cash payout option instead.
