Florida Mega Millions News and Payout for Friday, September 19th, 2025 Drawing
The Mega Millions lottery grand prize increased because no player matched all five white ball numbers plus the Mega Ball number from Friday night's $423,000,000 drawing. The next grand prize rolled up to $451,000,000 for Tuesday night's drawing. The cash option will be $$208.7 million up for grab. The numbers from Friday, September 19th, 2025 drawing were 02, 22, 27, 42, 58 with Mega Ball number 08 and Megaplier X.
Even though the jackpot was not hit Friday evening, Mega Millions did produce some big winners. There were a total of 8 third prize lucky winners. Among them, 8 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers, as well as the Mega Ball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000.
Additional prizes won Friday night included 203 tickets that matched 4 lotto numbers and won $500. There were 561 tickets that matched three white ball numbers plus the Mega Ball and also won $200.
With 9 different prize levels, there were 677,352 winning tickets sold across U.S. in the Friday, September 19th, 2025 drawing.
Mega Millions is a consortium of 44 state lotteries. Around 50% of the Mega Millions sales goes back to the players through prizes. Approximately 15% goes to retailer commissions and lottery operation expenses. About 35% total sales is used in government services, education and charities in the participating states. Mega Millions drawings are held 2 times a week every Tuesday and Friday night at 7:59 PM Pacific Time. The chances of winning any prizes are about 1 to 14. The odds of winning Mega Millions jackpot are about 1 in 302 million. The minimum Mega Millions grand prize starts at $40,000,000. Its annuity option is paid in 30 equal yearly installments. Winners may choose one lump-sum cash payout option instead.
