The jackpot for Saturday's Powerball drawing skyrockets to $201,000,000

Wall Street is not the only place where fortunes are made and lost these days. One fortune is going to be up for grabs on Saturday, when Powerball has $201,000,000 on the line. The cash value will be $$100 million. Powerball's jackpot went up because no one hit all 5 lotto numbers and the Powerball number drawn Wednesday night. The numbers drawn Wednesday night, August 7th, 2024 were 06-19-35-47-57 and Powerball was 09.
Though the jackpot was not awarded Wednesday evening, Powerball did produce some big winners. A total of 11 lucky players won the 3rd prize. These included 8 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers plus the Powerball and won $10,000.

There were 3 lucky Florida players matched 4 lotto numbers and also the Powerball and won $10,000. 51 tickets were sold in the state of Florida which matched either 4 or 3+1 numbers. The lucky ticket holders will receive $100 each. 17 tickets were sold in the state of Florida which matched either 4 or 3+1 numbers with Power Play. The lucky ticket holders will receive $200 each.
With nine different ways to win, the Wednesday night's drawing produced 392,502 winning tickets nationwide with a total amount of $0 prizes.
