The jackpot for Wednesday's Powerball drawing soars to $643,000,000

Wall Street is not the only place where fortunes are made and lost these days. One fortune will be up for grabs on Wednesday, when Powerball game has $643,000,000 on the line. The lump-sum cash payout stands at a projected $$290.6 million up for grab. Powerball's jackpot went up since nobody hit all 6 numbers drawn Monday night. The numbers from Monday, August 18th, 2025 drawing were 15-46-61-63-64 and Powerball was 01.
Though there was no jackpot winner Monday evening, some people still walked away with big money. There were two second prize winning tickets from Monday night's drawing, matching the first 5 lotto numbers except the Powerball number. The 2 second prize winning ticket(s) purchased in AZ(1) and TX(1) will collect $1 million cash.
Also, 9 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers, plus the Powerball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000.
