Powerball jackpot increases to $131,000,000 Monday night; 2 second prize tickets sold

The grand prize in America's favorite Powerball lottery is on the move. Since nobody correctly matched all 6 winning numbers in Saturday's drawing, the grand prize will climb to $131,000,000! The lump-sum cash payout stands at $$56.8 million up for grab. The winning numbers from Saturday, August 29th, 2026 drawing were 18, 56, 62, 65, 67 with Power Ball number 18. No one won the Powerball grand prize in the past 7 draws since Saturday, August 15th, 2026. One lucky winner from IL walked away with 1,000,000,000 jackpot in Wednesday, August 12th, 2026 drawing.
While there was no jackpot winner Saturday evening, some people still walked away with big money. There were 2 2nd prize winning tickets from Saturday night's Powerball drawing, matching all 5 white ball numbers except the Powerball number. The two lucky ticket(s) bought in CA(1) and GA(1), each won $1 million cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.
Also, 6 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers, as well as the Powerball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000. 3 additional players not only matched 4+1, but also purchased the Power Play option, multiplying the winnings by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each!
