Saturday's Powerball jackpot breaks to $146,000,000; One player matched the first 5 numbers

The jackpot for Saturday Powerball climbed to $146,000,000 (cash option $$66.9 million) after nobody matched all five lotto numbers and the Powerball number Wednesday night. The numbers drawn Wednesday night, February 11th, 2026 were 06-20-33-40-48 and Powerball number was 05. The Powerball grand prize has been growing for 9 draws since Saturday, January 24th, 2026. The last jackpot was won by one lucky ticket sold in NC, matched all six numbers for a 209,000,000 top prize.
While the grand prize was not awarded Wednesday evening, some players still walked away with large winnings. There was only one lucky player that matched all 5 lotto numbers and won the 2nd prize. The one lucky ticket(s) sold in AZ, each won 1 million dollar cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.
Other prizes won Wednesday evening included 8 tickets that matched 4 white numbers plus the Powerball and won $10,000. Also, 174 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $100. There were 44 tickets matched 4 white ball with Power Play option, doubled the prizes to a total win of $200 each! There were 486 tickets that matched 3 white ball numbers plus the Powerball and also won $100. 155 additional players not only matched 3+1, but in addition bought the Power Play option, doulbled the prizes to $200 cash each ticket.
With nine ways to win, the Wednesday night's drawing created 393,464 winning tickets across U.S. with a total amount of $0 prizes.
Powerball lottery is played in 42 states, D.C. and the US Virgin Islands. Each play costs $2. Players can choose to spend 1 extra dollar to purchase the Power Play, which multiplies the original winnings except grand prize. The minimum Powerball grand prize starts at 40 million dollar. Its annuity option is paid in 30 graduated installments. Winners can choose one-time lump-sum cash payout option instead.
