Nobody matched all 6 numbers last night. Powerball jackpot builds to $123 million Wednesday, March 3rd, 2021

The jackpot for Wednesday Powerball lottery leaped to $123 million (cash value $86.1 million) after nobody hit all 5 lotto numbers plus the Powerball number Saturday night. The numbers from Saturday, February 27th, 2021 drawing were 02, 28, 31, 44, 52 and Powerball was 18. Nobody won the Powerball grand prize in the past 109 draws since Saturday, February 15th, 2020. One lucky player from Michigan won the $70.00 million top prize in Wednesday, February 12th, 2020 drawing.
While there was no jackpot winner Saturday evening, some people still walked away with big money. 12 third prize winning tickets were sold nationwide. There were 4 tickets matched 4+1 with Power Play option, multiplying the prizes by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each!
In addition, 309 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $100. There were 109 tickets matched 4 white ball with Power Play option, doubled the winnings to a total win of $200 each! Other prizes won Saturday evening included 805 tickets that matched 3 white numbers together with Powerball and won $100. 229 additional tickets of this prize level were also purchased with the Power Play option that doubled winnings to $200 cash.
With nine different prize levels, the Saturday night's drawing produced 634,454 winning tickets across U.S. with a total amount of $0 prizes.
Powerball is an American popular lottery game sold in 44 participating states as a shared jackpot game. Powerball drawings occur 2 times a week every Wednesday and Saturday night at 10:59 PM Eastern Time. Each play costs $2. Players can choose to spend 1 extra dollar to purchase the Power Play, which multiplies the original winnings except jackpot. The odds of winning any prizes is about 1 to 32. The odds of matching 6 Powerball numbers are 1 to 292,201,338. The minimum Powerball advertised grand prize starts at 40 million dollar.
