Powerball jackpot climbs to $77,000,000; 1 second prize ticket sold

No player won Wednesday night's Powerball drawing, worth $60,000,000, bringing the estimated jackpot on Saturday to $77,000,000. The cash option stands at a projected $$38.2 million up for grab. The winning numbers from Wednesday, January 10th, 2024 drawing were 25, 40, 43, 48, 50 with Power Ball 11.
Even though there was no grand prize winner Wednesday evening, some people still walked away with huge pile of cash. There was a sole second prize winner from Wednesday night's drawing, matching the first five numbers except the Powerball number. The 1 lucky ticket(s) bought in New York, each won $1,000,000 cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.
Other prizes won Wednesday night included 5 tickets that matched 4 white numbers as well as the Powerball and won $10,000. 5 additional tickets at this prize level were also wisely purchased with the Power Play option that multiplied winnings 4 times to $40,000 cash! Also, 140 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $100. There were 56 tickets matched 4 white ball with Power Play option, doubled the winnings to a total win of $200 each! 448 tickets matched 3 of the 5 lotto numbers, plus the Powerball number.
