Powerball jackpot moves to $174,000,000; 2 players matched the first 5 numbers

The jackpot in America's favorite Powerball lottery game continues to grow exciting players all across the country. Since no one correctly hit all 5 white ball numbers plus the Powerball number in Monday's drawing the grand prize will increase to $174,000,000! The cash option will be an estimated $$83.9 million up for grab. The winning numbers from Saturday night, January 27th, 2024 were 07, 38, 65, 66, 68 with Power Ball number 21. There was no jackpot winning ticket sold in the past eleven draws since Wednesday, January 3rd, 2024. The last jackpot was won by a single ticket sold in Michigan, matched all six numbers for a 810,000,000 top prize.
Though there was no jackpot winner Saturday evening, some people still walked away with big money. There were 2 lucky tickets correctly matched the first five lotto numbers but missed Powerball number, which won the second prize. The 2 lucky ticket(s) purchased in Kentucky(1) and New York(1), each won $1 million cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.
Additional prizes won Saturday night included 13 tickets that matched 4 white numbers as well as the Powerball and won $10,000. 2 additional tickets at this prize level were also wisely purchased with the Power Play option that multiplied the prize 4 times to $40,000 cash! There were 101 lucky Florida players won $100 prize by matching 4 or 3+1 numbers. 22 tickets were sold in the state of Florida which matched either 4 or 3+1 numbers with Power Play. The lucky ticket holders will collect $200 each.

Powerball can be played in 42 states, D.C. and the US Virgin Islands. Powerball drawings occur every Wednesday and Saturday night at 10:59 p.m. Eastern Time.
