Saturday's Powerball jackpot moves to $150 million; 1 second prize ticket sold

The MUSL lottery official announced that the Wednesday, July 14th, 2021, POWERBALL's drawing resulted in a carry over, producing a $150 million jackpot for the next drawing Saturday. The cash value will be $107.6 million. The winning numbers from Wednesday, July 14th, 2021 drawing were 33, 46, 52, 59, 62 with Power Ball number 10.
Even though the grand prize was not awarded Wednesday evening, Powerball did produce some big winners. There was a sole 2nd prize winner from Wednesday night's drawing, matching all 5 lotto numbers but not the Powerball number. The one second prize ticket(s) from North Carolina matched all 5 white ball numbers and also purchased Power Play, which doubled the prize to $2 million cash win!
Additional prizes won Wednesday night included 2 tickets that matched 4 white numbers plus the Powerball and won $10,000. 5 additional tickets at this prize level were also wisely purchased with the Power Play option that multiplied winnings 4 times to $40,000 cash!
There were 49,025 Powewrball winning tickets sold in the state of Florida. A single ticket sold in Florida matched 4 white ball numbers and also the Powerball. The lucky ticket holder will collect $10,000 cash. 73 tickets were sold in the state of Florida which matched either 4 or 3+1 numbers. The lucky ticket holders will receive $100 each. 26 tickets were sold in the state of Florida which matched either 4 or 3+1 numbers with Power Play. The lucky ticket holders will receive $200 each.
With 9 prize levels, the Wednesday night's drawing produced 563,325 winning tickets across U.S. with a total amount of $0 prizes.
Powerball is one of the most popular lottery games in the U.S. offered in 44 participating states as a pari-mutuel jackpot game. Powerball drawings are held 2 times a week every Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m. Eastern Time. Powerball game uses a 5/69+1/26 matrix from which winning numbers are chosen. Each play costs $2. Players can choose to pay $1 extra to purchase the Power Play option, which increases the winnings but not grand prize. The odds of winning is about 1 to 32.
