Saturday's Powerball jackpot builds to $169 million; 1 ticket matched the first five numbers

The MUSL lottery official announced that the Wednesday, March 10th, 2021, POWERBALL's drawing resulted in a rollover, generating a $169 million grand prize for the next drawing Saturday. The lump-sum cash payout will be an estimated $116.1 million up for grab. The numbers drawn Wednesday night, March 10th, 2021 were 17-18-37-44-53 with Power Ball number 18. No one won the Powerball jackpot in the past 112 draws since Saturday, February 15th, 2020. One lucky player from Michigan won the $70.00 million jackpot in Wednesday, February 12th, 2020 drawing.
Although the grand prize was not awarded Wednesday evening, Powerball did produce some big winners. There was only one lucky ticket matched all 5 numbers but missed Powerball number, which won the second prize. The 1 second prize winning ticket(s) bought in Virginia will collect $1 million cash.
Additional prizes won Wednesday night included 25 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers as well as the Powerball and won $10,000. 25 additional players not just matched 4+1, and also purchased the Power Play option, multiplying the prizes by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each! Other prizes won Wednesday night included 325 tickets that matched 4 white numbers and won $100. 110 additional tickets at this prize level were also wisely purchased with the Power Play option that doubled the prize to $200 cash! 924 tickets matched three of the five lotto numbers, plus the Powerball number. These tickets are also each worth $100. There were 363 tickets matched 3+1 with Power Play option, doubled the prizes to win a total win of $200 each.
There were 56,425 Powewrball winning tickets sold in the state of Florida. Two tickets sold in Florida matched 4 white ball numbers as well as the Powerball. These lucky ticket holders will receive $10,000 cash each. There were 105 lucky Florida players won $100 prize by matching 4 or 3+1 numbers. There were 50 lucky Florida winners won $200 prize by matching 4 or 3+1 numbers with Power Play purchased.
With nine prize tiers, there were 619,758 tickets nationwide won $0 prizes in the Wednesday, March 10th, 2021 drawing.
America's favorite Powerball lottery can be played in 42 states, D.C. and the US Virgin Islands. Powerball drawings are held every Wednesday and Saturday night at 10:59 PM Eastern Time. The odds of winning is about 1 to 32. The odds of matching all six Powerball numbers are about 1 in 292 million. The minimum Powerball grand prize starts at 40 million dollar.
